“We have just today completed working with your company in the handling of the repair of storm damage to our home. We wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the quality of the work, the efficiency of your employees, and the professionalism of your procedures.
Art Shipman came out when he said he would, and he sat with us at length until we felt sure he understood all our concerns. He then did an extensive examination of our property and furnished us with a detailed list of what he felt needed to be done. When the representatives from the insurance company became involved with our claim, Art met with everyone necessary while always assuring us that this was standard procedure and for us not to be concerned.
When work began, the roofers and the siding men reported on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up after themselves. While they worked, we hardly knew they were around. They endeavored to never inconvenience us and were always courteous if we had any questions. Art came often and checked every detail for completion. We were absolutely amazed at his ability to hear something once and never need to be reminded again!
We first decided to have Montgomery & Sons do our repairs because of your representative who visited the insurance office where I worked for 20 years. He was an older gentleman, very dignified and quiet, and he never offered the incentives that so many companies did when they visited our office. We were always so impressed with him, and we never had a single complaint about any work that Montgomery was given. “Friday, October 3, Stanley and Mac, pretty much put the finishing touches on the rebuilding of my barn after the fire on April 16. I want to give credit to all the workers that did such a fine job of re-building for me.
Ken Meerschaert was the first person to show up April 17, He is one of my former students from St. Lawrence High School way back in 1968 or 69. Then Art Shipman and his crew covered my roof so the contents wouldn’t get wet by any more rain. Art has been a blessing to work with and I appreciate him very much for doing things the way I wanted them done.
September 23, Ted Dixon and his carpenter crew of Jamie, Dave and Owen showed up to tear off the burned second floor. I was pleased to hear no swearing, smoking or jingle jangling among them as they worked and rebuilt the second floor.
Anyhow, I think you have a wonderful bunch of guys working for you. I don’t want to forget Kevin. He is a real Gentleman also.
I don’t remember the crew’s names that covered the roof back around April 17, and if I forgot anybody, it was not on purpose.
I know the painting still needs to be done, but I wanted you to know how good of a job your workers have done for me.

“On September 5th, we lost our home to a fIre. Our insurance company advised us that we needed to hire a builder to rebuild our home (our life). We where in such shock and we were not sure where to begin, so we talked with several builders and Montgomery & Sons was one of them.
My husband and I decided to go with Montgomery and Sons. Mr. Morsky was up front and honest and was not trying to sell us a story; he had the facts and told us like it was. We said our prayer and signed the contract. Work began and we where shocked to see how often Mr. Morsky was on the site, and that other workers from Montgomery & Sons where so kind and honest. While emptying our home they worked as if it was their things, one of the workers found a jewelry box that we had missed, and set it aside for us to look at. It turned out to be some jewelry that was important to us. Whenever we called Mr. Morsky he was available or called right back. If he did not have an answer right then, he would get the answer and call us right back.
Well we are now done and back in our home, and we say our thanks to God for answering our prays. Our home is great and Montgomery & Sons did an excellent job. I wanted you to know that you may think of your company as rebuilding, but you need to know that during a time of such overwhelming shock your company puts peoples lives back together in a kind, honest and understanding manner.
